With Hurricane lan approaching, your safety is our first concern. On the city website at Tavares.org, you will find information about possible storm-related road closures, changes in traffic patterns, important marina storm requirements, storm preparedness, garbage pickups, and department closings. If you need information concerning available shelters or other storm-related inquiries, please call the Citizen Information Line at 352-253-9999 and someone will be there to answer your questions.
