Today is the day in May when the National Hurricane Center has begun issuing regular Tropical Weather Outlooks for the 2022 hurricane season. These outlooks show possible tropical cyclone development areas in the next 48 hours and next 5 days. Outlooks are issued every 6 hours at 8 am, 2 pm, 8 pm, and 2 am eastern, or as conditions warrant. Good news: Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days in the Atlantic Basin. It would be best if you also made a plan for your family or business visit https://www.ready.gov/plan
