4/4/22 PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE

TO: All residents of 820-961 Cedar Circle, excluding 931 Cedar Circle

In order to repair a service line, a 6” water main had to be shut off, causing service to be interrupted. Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes be boiled.  A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.  As an alternative, bottled water may be used. Service will be restored as soon as possible.

This “PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE” will remain in effect until bacteriological surveys show that the water is safe to drink. When the precautionary boil water notice is lifted, affected residents will be notified in the same manner as they received the original notice.

If you have any questions, you may contact the City of Tavares Water Department at (352) 742-6222.
