The Sunnyland Antique Boat Festival is returning March 24-27, 2022

Important: Tavares requires all vessels to be removed from the marina, no later than Monday, March 21st at noon, in preparation and support of the Annual Sunnyland Boat Festival.

  • As a reminder: The marina lease agreement includes this annual displacement when the City Council approved lease rates were implemented (paragraph 3 of lease).
  • Vessels can return to the marina afternoon on Monday, March 28th.

The Annual Sunnyland Boat Festival on Lake Dora is the largest Antique and Classic boating event on the East Coast.

This fantastic event draws boats and visitors from all over the country. It is anticipated that they will fill the marina and park facility with classic vessels, equipment, parts, accessories, and more. The antique boat festival has a long-standing history of partnership with The City of Tavares and continues today as a wonderful opportunity for a positive economic impact throughout the city. Hotels will be full, restaurants will be busy with participants and visitors. The show organizers have informed us they are anticipating a high level of participation this year.
