Amended addresses 11/30/21 PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE

TO: Residents of the 100 to 500 block of Fern Ave. and 1514, 1516, 1518, and 1410 Dead River Rd.

In order to repair a broken 6” main, water service has been interrupted. Therefore, as a precaution we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes be boiled.  A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.  As an alternative, bottled water may be used. Service will be restored as soon as possible.

This “PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE” will remain in effect until bacteriological surveys show that the water is safe to drink. When the precautionary boil water notice is lifted, affected residents will be notified in the same manner as they received the original notice.

If you have any questions, you may contact the City of Tavares Water Department at (352) 742-6222.

Thank you, Chris Abbott, Water Dept. Supervisor, City of Tavares
