11/17/21 PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE

TO: Parts of Lake Frances Blvd.,1300 Mohawk Cir. to 1310 Mohawk Cir., 1043 Capella Dr. to 1162 Capella Dr., and 1200 Apache Cir. to 1321 Apache Cir.

Water service will be interrupted to cap a 4” waterline, and a 2” water line on Lake Frances Blvd. on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021 beginning at 8:00 a.m. and should be completed by approximately 12:00 p.m., unless there are unforeseen circumstances.

Once service is restored, a Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until bacteriological surveys show that the water is safe to drink. We advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled.  A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.  As an alternative bottled water may be used. When the precautionary boil water notice is lifted, affected residents will be notified in the same manner as they received the original notice.

If you have any questions, you may contact the City of Tavares Water Department at (352) 742-6222.
