
Friends of Tavares Library, Inc. is a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) organization. The mission of the Friends of Tavares Library is to encourage public support of the Tavares Public Library and to promote lifelong learning and literacy. The Friends accomplish this mission by raising funds to support the Library's unexpected program needs and expenses. New members and new ideas are always welcome.
In 2023 the Friends of the Tavares Library purchased three original seaplane photographs and one sunset photograph by Bonnie Whicher Photography for the Tavares Public Library expansion.
