The Library Director works for the City and with her team connects citizens with information, resources, materials, technology, and experiences in order to make a positive impact in their lives. The TPL manages two Little Free Libraries located in Wooton Park and Aesop‘s Park. The Library’s book bike and Library’s mascot, Captain Tallas, are popular features at city events.
Rebecca Campbell is the Library Director for Tavares, Florida - America’s Seaplane City. Rebecca graduated from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI with a Bachelor's Degree in English and from Simmons University in Boston, MA with a Master's Degree in Library Science.
She loves library programming and readers advisory so be on the lookout for book recommendations and news on upcoming library programming.
