Welcome to the Tavares Public Library!
Today's libraries are more than just books, they offer many ways to access information and to be entertained. At the Tavares Library you will find audio books, movies, music, magazines, newspapers and books, both hardcover and paperback. eBooks, digital magazines and streaming video are also available through the Overdrive Digital platform via Lake County Library System. There are a wide variety of programs and events offered throughout the year. We also have computers for doing homework, writing papers, accessing email, eGovernment services and internet browsing.
It's a great big world out there and all of it can be accessed at your Tavares Library!
