TAVARES YOUTH BASKETBALL CAMP

In partnership with Tavares High School Men’s and Women’s Basketball Programs, Tavares Recreation hosts an annual youth basketball camp every June at Tavares High School. For kids in grades 3rd-8th, the camp is led by the Head Coaches of the Tavares High School Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams. Along with their Assistant Coaches and players, the Coaches will work with campers on skill development, team work and sportsmanship, all in a fun and positive environment. Basketball camp fee is $100 per child.

TAVARES HOLIDAY CAMP

With cooler weather, campers will have lots of outdoor fun with activities and field trips perfect for their age group. From investigating nature in the City of Tavares and along the water front, to discovering the rich history of our town, campers will have fun learning about all types of things. Just when it couldn't get anymore exciting, let's add a couple field trips! Our youngest campers must have COMPLETED KINDERGARTEN. Space is limited. Camp will be based out of the Ingraham Center (317 S. Ingraham Ave., Tavares, FL 32778). So drop off and pick up is at this location. Camp is 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with activities beginning at 9:00 AM each day. Registration Open
