The Public Works Department is committed to providing many of the necessary services for the citizens of Tavares and other City Departments.  Combining good quality employees and proper management, the Public Works Department can offer efficient, cost effective services in a timely and professional manner.  Public Works is proud to uphold a reputation of reliability while ensuring a high quality of life for our citizens.

The Public Works Department is comprised of four Divisions:  Fleet Maintenance, General Services, Roads, and Solid Waste.
