Public Communications serves to inform City residents, employees, and other stakeholders about what the City government is doing and why.

The department is responsible for the production and dissemination of information about City operations to both the public at large (extenal customers) and to City employees (internal customers).

Information is disseminated using a variety of public information, advertising, public relations, and marketing tools, including the City newsletter, media releases, public service announcements, and this website.
