Designed for seniors with a "playful" attitude, the City of Tavares created the Young at Heart Program to offer our 55+ community a chance to gather around the table to enjoy classic board games, light refreshments, cards and old-fashion fellowship.
Held weekly on Tuesdays from 1:30pm - 3:30pm in the Tavares Civic Center (located behind the Tavares Public Library) during the months of October through April, the Young at Heart Program is open to anyone who wants to have a good time with lots of games, goodies and giggles at no charge.
